Arco are experts in safety and the UK's leading supplier of safety equipment, workwear, safety boots and shoes, gloves and maintenance supplies.

​THE PROBLEM

They are undergoing a digital transformation that will enable them to increase their product and services offering; unlocking £20Mp/a in sales.

This includes the implementation of PIM software and re-platforming of their e-commerce solution. Understanding that digital transformation is not just a tech challenge Amplifi were engaged to help them understand how ready the business was for the changes.

Arco wanted to further strengthen the governance of data and processes. They wanted mentorship, guidance and support to enable a Data Governance capability that could prove success quickly.

WHAT WE DID

Amplifi performed a Data Readiness Assessment that ascertained the business objectives and associated financial or material benefits.

We documented the current state of data, processes, organization and systems and how these could be limiting the achievement of the objectives.

We built a practical and executable roadmap of change to support the objectives. As part of the roadmap Arco were the subject of a Data Governance Quick Start, which involved the design of an appropriate organisation, the processes to define business terms, policies, and to deal with data quality issues.

This was followed by two months of working together to embed the organisation and processes into business as usual.
